3 Decorative Screens

Below we show a collection of 3 screens which, like all our work, are made from found
or otherwise discarded materials, including old paintings of the artists's, here cannibalised and reworked as part of our ongoing studio practice. We avoid using new materials wherever possible, to create the minimum amount of redundancy that we can manage. These screens make ideal room dividers and are, of course, double sided.

Screen 1

5 panels each @ 52 x 144 x 4.5 cms with heavy duty vintage brass hinges which are
believed to have been recovered from the double doors to the ballroom of a dismantled ocean liner.
Canvas, acrylic, gold leaf and sand with wooden feet.

Screen 2

4 Double sided panels each @ 180 x 40 x 2.5 cms with brass hinges.
A former painting of the artist's reworked and recycled with additional acrylic and gold leaf additions.

Screen 3

4 Hinged and double sided panels each @ 180 x 40 x 2.5 cms.
